Music
The school currently has over eight bands including jazz, contemporary and rock groups.
Boys can also have individual tuition in drums, saxophone, trumpet and voice, from outside tutors during normal school hours.
Balgowlah Boys’ is very proud of its long history in encouraging those boys with an interest in music and has had success in many music eisteddfods and competitions. Our boys can also participate in Rock Eisteddfods and drama as part of the Northern Beaches Secondary College.
Our fully equipped recording studio also provides our boys with the unique opportunity to record, mix and digitally enhance their own music.
